Hey y'all,

Was going to take my nephew (11 yrs old) out for his first crabbing adventure, and thought of going after some black rocks as well. What's happening out there? Are there any perch or lings running in like they sometimes do? Just wanna have my gear lined up.

I spent 3 hours crabbing and fishing Yaquina Tuesday. Took my nephew out for his first time. Lots of female and undersized crabs, no keepers! :whazzup:

Threw jigs at the rocks for possible bass and lings. Got one hit, but missed the strike. Kids had a great time out in the boat though!

Thanks for the update, sorry the luck wasn't there. :shrug: Shoot, I was looking to get the skunk off my boat...been fishing the Willy for springers in P-land and have had just one hit, which I promptly horsed out of it's mouth. :redface:

Guess I might just leave the crab pots at home and work the pilings for perch if the rockies aren't there.
