a very sad day today as the fishing comunity has lost a well known knowledgeable guide. He will be missed dearly by lots. My prayers go out to his family.

Len was always one of the nicest guys you'd cross paths with on the bay, the river and on the dock at the end of the day. Always sociable and pleasant. So many of us will miss him.

This is very sad, I can remember fishing the Clack and needed a ride, Len was there and went out of his way to help a fellow fisherman without hesitating, RIP Mr Self ray:

I can't believe that it has almost been a whole year!! I sure miss checking his site for the fishing reports. but most above everything else catching up when we would visit while dropping of some of the daily catch of crab for him and Terry. There will always be something missing on our trips to the bay
