Rigging Brads MINI Cut Plugs - hook size?

I'm going to run some Brads MINI Cut Plugs this weekend instead of 3.5 spinners. I'm going with the MINIs instead of the regular cut plugs because they're closer in size to 3.5 spinners.

I usually rig the regular superbaits and/or cut plugs with a few beads a tandem hook setup. Usually 3/0 hooks, sometimes 2/0. My question is, will 2/0-3/0 hooks work for the MINI cut plugs? I heard if the hooks are too big, it slows the roll and throws off the presentation. Someone had mentioned using 1/0 hooks for the MINI cut plugs, but that seems awfully small, no? I'm new to the superbait craze, so any help is appreciated.

Fishing for chinook and coho on the coastal tribs. Running them behind 360s of course.

Have caught 4 or 5 nooks on kokanee size cut plug....IMO they work better than their original big brothers. I use silver or nickel finish 2/0 eagle claw and they catch..infact they bury so good that pliers need work to get em out....regardless of small tribs or just big C.

I run the same setup but with 2/0 for all.
I started with 4/0 then I went to 3/0 and now I'm down to 2/0. I think the smaller hooks are easier for the fish to hit and then find a place to hang. I like to use smaller hooks because it cuts down on weight and size. By using the bobber stop it allows the hooks to hang back without all of the extra beads making it lighter as well.
I run the Maruto sickle hooks and have been very happy with them.

I've run the standard size cut plugs with a treble in the belly and two trailing 4-0 behind 360 at the coast many times. I really n them close, about 30" and the action is fantastic, very erratic. My trouble is they must be difficult to get hold of because I get a lot of outside the mouth hookups. They work so well I never tried the mini's. Use the mini on Kokanee with a #2 and #4 trailer.
