Rain is in the forcast for next week! What will this do for Oregon Coastal salmon fishing in Tillamook? Does this mean head for Tillamook Bay now? Are they going to get into the Trask and Wilson and Tillamook River tidewater areas, or troll in the Ghost Hole or jaws? What is best for next weekend, October 10, 11, and 12? I caught my very first Fall Chinook (27 pound hen) outside the Jaws of Tillamook Bay on October 11, 1987 (on 15 pound test, what a dork
). That year, it didn't rain much yet, so they were in the ocean outside the jaws or at the jaws.

How much rain does it take to bring them into the bay and river tidewater area?

Any thoughts about how much rain we need to bring them into Tillamook Bay? I've heard it is more miss than hit currently.
