Right or left helical twist with feathers?

My brother in law shoots a right handed recurve and ordered his arrows (carbons), but was wondering what twist to get with his feathers? He's heard both ways...sounded like a perfect ifish question!

The old standard is right-hand, left-wing and vice versa.

I personally CAN and do shoot both from my right handed recurve. No real difference in arrow flight.
