I headed up to fish MA 8-1 this morning and landed 4 leagal Blackmouth, kept two about 8#'s. The first fish came in 145' just off baby island on a jig. The other three came from the area between Greenbank and North Bluff trolling flasher and hootchie w/ large herring strip @ 130'.
There was a TON of bait off baby island. I snagged several herring while jigging and even got one trolling. They were all over 9" (black lable size).
The fog was thick, but with a good quality GPS it was not an issue.
I'm heading out again in the morning to get a few more :smile:
