A nice man who polishes jet sleds contacted me, and for the life of me, I can't remember his contact information.

[Bobber Down]

A polished aluminum jet boat looks pretty when you only use it in fresh water. But in saltwater it will turn blueish green from around the water line down. Then to keep it up you have to keep polishing it. I polished my old sled one time to a mirror finish, and paid the price to continue polishing from that time on. My sled that I have now, will never be polished ever as long as I own it. I wash it after every fishing trip completly, as well as flushing both motors in fresh water. Just my two cents worth............Bobber Down
