ok I realy dont want ot share this tip but I will anyway just for the sake of those who don't know. When fishing with the famous pink worm on drift gear in place of those small beads on top of the hook in between the hook and worm just keep the needle on and thread on a jensen egg. you can get them in all kinds of colors and sizes I prefer the pink. But this will add more scent to your lure and will allow it to maintane the soft texture rather then getting a mouth full of bead. also the jenzen eggs hold scent for a very long time and are not abrasive to the line which a painted bead can be or any plastic bead for that matter. pink worm tip

Out with the old beads and in with the new eggs.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried the worm in a couple of years, but it was fun when I did. Caught 1 smolt and 3 winter steelies in 3 trips.
