Looks like off to the hospital this morning. I haven’t been able to stand or walk more than five minutes-for the last two days. Figure it’s probably time to take the ride.

Puffin the other day I was gimping around on my broken knee when I had some trouble getting my legs in the car to take the Grandkids to school. When I got home I got out of the car took 2 steps and ended on my stomach. I crawled up our drive way on my knees and elbows and into the house. I got to the hospital and after tests found I had passed a kidney stone. Brutal and felt just like I had a hip fracture. Your urinary track goes right up over the lower hip region.
Wish you all the luck and I hope it is not as bad as it seems. May just bee a pesky little stone.
Keep us up to date on what is happening.

OK which is the worse hip, knee or shoulder. I need 2 out of 3 so I am a little curious. I have heard hips are not that bad. I have had 2 back surgeries and they are now saying no more or will cause more problems than worth it. Be careful Jon these old medicine men like their money. I guess when we become crippled it's time to do something. You sound bad not being able to stand or walk. All of us may need to pony up and get you some pizza's delivered for the next month or so.

Back’s been done once shoulders been done once doc says I got a new knee on the shelf when I get tired of wrecking this one.
Shoulder sucks, because you get to live in the recliner for three months you can’t sleep in a regular bed

I know the only problem with that plan Don is. I have a nine month old black lab due for about 60 plus days of duck hunting this year. probably not gonna work out real well. I don’t understand it. I’m 65. I go like I’m 35 and I heal like I’m 105. The doc asked me what the limit was on them tuna. I told him 25. And you haven’t lived till you gone out and caught a limit by yourself. I’m surprised he didn’t roll me right to the psych ward.

If the kids want to take you to the vet “for a checkup,” don’t go.

You had a shoulder replaced? Curious to hear your tale on that one. I have two crappy ones and someday will have to go down that road, but for this gym boy it'd be a life changing event, so putting it off until I can't move. Right now my biggest limitation is range of motion, or the lack thereof. I have to be careful which weightlifting things I do at the gym to keep from aggravating them too much, otherwise I get around pretty good.

Wondered why the crabbin got better. Then I saw your gear stacked behind the boat. Get better soon so you can hunt on sumbitch ridge this fall. I'm there most weekends. Let me know if I can help over at fishcamp.

Hey My gear is still in the water. Feel free to run it and pull it for the season if you want I’m obviously not going to be able to. It’s either sacrificial or somebody else pulls it for me. Thank you.

I'm just being a smart-as* here as that's what I am. Please take no offense as this is just an attempt at my warped sense of humor.

But....

Would a Seakeeper have helped negate some of these problems?

Hope you heal quickly. I'm looking at the hip thing. Would like to to by-pass the steroid injection step and just go for new. I've already done the PT step.
