This was one of those games they were supposed to win. Granted, favored by a point and a half is basically a pick ā€˜em with home field advantage but the Beavs need to learn how to win the games they’re supposed to win.

Good thing the Dam Collective can pay a million bucks a year to players for a mediocre/losing football program, while the University cuts jobs and funding to staff and faculty that actually carry out the mission of a land-grant academic institution.

The whole landscape of college athletics is a f*&king joke, especially OSU. And I say this as an alumni three times over.

It seems like us Beaver fans have been saying this for a while. Insert whining emoji here......I'm cranky because I was skunked on my last salmon trip!!!

I agree AnnualRye, the money/tranfers have really f'd up college football/sports. There are and will be for the foreseeable future, a small handful of very rich schools that will compete for a championship, then the rest. It'll be like this until something changes.

GO BEAVERS!! Class of '85.

When has it been otherwise?

Historically it’s been Oklahoma, Alabama, USC, Ohio State, Miami, Penn State, LSU, and Clemson. There’s more, of course, but these teams have been over represented in the championship game for decades.

You are right, some of the names have changed but it has gone to a whole new and unsustainable level. Don't get me wrong, I think college athletes have been exploited for decades. Some compensation as well as tuition is a good idea, but what has happened just ain't right or good.
Honestly I think the tranfer mess is worse. Shuffling the deck every season.......

Back to the subject. The Beavs should be able to be at least consistently competitive. Win the games they should, keep it close in others and sneak in a couple lucky wins. I hope I'm not asking for too much.

Go Beavers!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like the ease or frequency with which athletes can transfer. My point is, I don’t think it changes the balance of power much. Those who have had, historically, still have. And those who don’t, historically, still don’t.

If anything I think it brings more parity to the game.

Beavers favored by 3 over Fresno City.

Win the games you’re supposed to win!

TV Fubo is the only option?

Down by 2 but kicked a FG to go back up by 1. Don’t care about the spread.

Beavs score to take the lead with 1:19 remaining.

Beavs score to take the lead with 1:19 remaining. Too much time?
