IMO a bye is always a positive, more film study, body recovery, sleep with your own pillow etc. At this level rhythm, timing basic skills do not skip a beat. My answer to your question is it will help PS 100%, dammit!
Regarding Ducks having a game in a nutshell it will not affect the PS game unless they suffer some critical injuries, knock on wood. Lanning and crew are too good with detailed preparation therefore they should be firing on all cylinders.

As I later posted the whole ducks team seemed to be playing "half assed".
Its still early in the season to be worried about 1-10 rankings though.

Mercy is not in the vocabulary when it comes to instate rival games just watch or listen to both sets of fans. I’ve sat through many Duck / Beav games in both locations and witnessed and been a part of a lot of activity. The liquid courage just fuels it early kick off is much better than late if you follow me!
