Vegas has the Ducks as a 27.5-point favorite over Montana State this Saturday. Hardly a ringing endorsement for the Ducks.

Going to be an interesting year at QB.

Spoken like a victim. What gives?

Ease up on the guy, he’s been through a lot.

But remember, no victory is meaningless.

Looks like a great day for football. Look for me in section 23.

Go Ducks!

The Ducks looked slow.

Not impressed.

Agreed. There didn't seem to be a ton of energy on the field or in the stands. It's just not the Civil War "event" it used to be. I did hear it said that, after taking next season off, the Ducks will play the Beavs again yearly from 2027-2032.

Beavs were able to run more than I liked.

O line could have done a better job of protecting the QB.

Dante wasn't as accurate passing as he could/should have been.

Oregon's blitz wasn't super effective, again, or frequent enough, IMO. The OSU screen was reasonably productive when the Ducks did Blitz

Just these deficiencies could easily add up to a Duck loss next weekend. The latest line I could find has PSU favored by 3 1/2 points.

Oregon Ducks among favorites to win national title following dominant Week 4 win

The last 2 cupcake games looked very different than the 1st two cupcake games.
1st two were very explosive. The last two they looked like they were half Assing their way to dominate victory's.
Most all of the offensive plays looked so very ABC. Also, the last 2 games were without there RB #1.

It might just be that Lanning has some rope a dope angling going on these last 2 games?
And also trying to be very protective from injuries. It going to be a long season.
Injuries have hurt them a lot these last few seasons.

And they obviously out classed each team all 4 games.

Early money has Penn St favored by 3.

The polls seem a little off to me, but it will mostly take care of itself in a few weeks. I don't know if Oregon should be higher, but probably considering the rest of the poll.

Crazy that Miami, LSU, and Oklahoma are as high as they are if you watched their games. LSU's big win was against Clemson who's lost 3 games.

Of course, they are always right. Many of them picked Clemson to win the NC this year and had ND in the top 25 when they hadn't even won a game. :D

Take a look at the tv ratings for the past few weeks. There are a lot of people watching an "irrelevant" conference. ;) College Football TV Ratings

But, we have the playoffs to see what is what.

NIL has leveled the playing field and SEC is finding that out (Alabama).
I agree NIL and specifically the transfer portal is changing a lot. Teams can't sit on players for years without letting them play. Bama wasn't the only one doing it. Schools all over the country did.

I think we need a couple of years in the new conference to see what Oregon State becomes. Most schools have gone through some bad years.

Who knows ... maybe they win their conference and play Oregon in the playoffs in a few years.
