So far I have spent many weekends fishing, the Deschutes, Spring nooks 9.
Wilson river 5 steelheads.
Cloumbia river 3 nooks.
Now I have hook alot of fish, maybe 35-to-40.

How many fish have you all caught??
Now No Fibbing, I know how a fish that's 30 inches long becomes 45, and Iam on my secount tag!
Let's be honest now, Just wondering how you all have done.

I have kept 11 chinook, 2 steelhead, 1 coho, 1 BFB. I have released about 10 coho <wild and when closed>, 2 "partial clip" chinook, 5 or 6 steelhead, and 2 undersize halibut.

I handed off about twice as many salmon/steelhead as Ive caught to family members and friends. I like to see others land fish just as much as I like to pull em in myself.

It has been a really good year for us so far. I hope it goes the same through the fall!

Jon

Let's see.....
I saw one guy catch a springtime kinda salmon down by that Prescott beach spot, but that was quite a few months ago.Anyways...I count that as one for me, as I viewed it from a quite nearby distance. You know, saw it's sandy body and slimey blood and stuff.

And,um, I heard that my pal caught a pretty big steelyhead about 2 weeks ago, but he mostly lies about that stuff. But, well since he is a pretty close friend, darn near a brother...and it's a poor thing to call him a liar, I'll call it number two for me-o, cause I probably will eat some of it's tasty meat eventually.

Oh, and the Official Fishin' Report at the Cowlitz last week said there were 1.4 fish caught per rod. And, heck if I wasn't down there with at least 2 rods....so reason tells me they attribute just about 3, maybe 4, of those wiggly fish to me. So, that's just about five fish!

And, if your askin' me how many fish I figured I caught today...I'd be obligated to tell ya that I 'figured' about '5', today!

....and I been figurin' about 5 each day for quite a spell, now. Gosh knows how high my big total would be. I think I have had a good year......don't you?

Lots of Alaskan Halibut..big ones too.
Lots and lots and lots and lots of Alaskan Chums, pinks, and silver salmon.

One keeper sturgeon

Two wind river springers, hand full of Lewis River springer

Half of my washington state punch card filled with Lewis River summer steelhead.

Two Fall chinooks from a zipper lip stream.

Two so called Native silvers (released) caught out in the ocean.

How many have I hooked? Oh lets not go there

No joke to. I can back it all with pictures

While I have never caught a fish myself, I hope to someday.

I have watched several folks catch fish. Mostly on TNN.

I did meet a guy who caught a fish. But he did not have it with him, so I did not get to see it in person.

The dog is on his 4th hatchery tag this year.

I have too many fishing poles, so I must sell many of them to make room in the garage for garden implements.

Mark and Buzz, the dog.
