I am on the auction committee this year and we are making our last ditch efforts to drum up donations from members and local vendors in the community. We are part of a 501c non-profit organization, so your donation is tax deductible!

Everyone is welcome to come to our next general meeting on Wednesday May 1st, in Troutdale, Oregon at the Sam Cox Building located in Glenn Otto Park.

Tomorrow is the McLoughlins Chapter meeting for November at Denny's (15815 SE 82nd Dr, Clackamas, OR)
15815 SE 82nd Dr, Clackamas, Oregon 97015. We will be doing something different for the meeting. (This event is open to the public and free of charge, but we gladly accept donations to help offset the cost of the event) Do you want to learn how to tie leaders? Make a spinner? Cure and properly present bait? Make your own steelhead jig? Well you better attend the Tackle for Turkeys workshop. The workshop will be setup with multiple stations where you'll go from table to table learning from each stations instructor. You'll get to keep the tackle you make from the stations along with some fliers for future reference. This event is made possible by Poulsen Cascade, Dinger JIgs and the Association of NW Steelheaders McLoughlin Chapter.

The Big Door Prize is a couple (2) of frozen turkeys! :flowered:

"We are taking steps to protect members, volunteers, staff and our communities amidst concerns about COVID-19. Following recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Oregon Health Authority, we have decided to cancel all chapter meetings, fish-alongs, clinics, pint nights, and other events through April 5th. We may extend these cancellations as we monitor new developments, and will notify you if we decide to do so.
Through April 3rd, Northwest Steelheaders headquarters in Milwaukie, OR will be closed to volunteers and the public. Our staff will continue to work on issues facing our fisheries and anglers from home. Please continue to call or email us with any questions during this time. We request that you practice social distancing to lessen the spread of infection as we continue to learn more about COVID-19.
Wishing you good health and tight lines!"

Have you called the office? I am hoping once Oregon opens up, we will get back to in person meetings again. I know, I miss them, too. Send me a PM, Bobberguy55#.
