i finally get to fish a weekday! got the green light for a day of vacation on friday!! i was so excited, after dinner i went down to the barn, sat in my boat and commenced in the ritual bathing of all my kwikis.
side note: xtc...we tried the kwiki sacrifice and still nothing. am i doing it wrong???
anyway, im washing my stuff and i reach into the pan to retrieve a clean one, and zammo!!!!hook buried in my thumb. now normally i would get pretty upset at doing something at this stupidity level, but instead i carefully pulled the hook from my finger, looked at that kwikfish and said, "you're starting on saturday". then went into this whole big pep talk. so i have a lure thats a little on edge and im sure the others were listening.
