NW, SW, W, water depth, divers, D-Riggers, hoochies, coyotes, herring, fishing depth, and any other details you might like to share?

I want a chinook! The coho are fun, but nothing like an ocean chinook.

6-8 miles out nw
56 degree water
caught them from 70ft with downrigger to ten feet
the 35 lb fish was at ten feet
one on hoochies, one on a coyote, 2 on herring
go slow through the slicks.
one guy was throwing up which I think excited the chinook. Be sure to bring a barfer.

Went fishing out of Newport last Sunday. Couldn't keep the chinook out of the boat. Ended up limiting out with four chinooks and two silvers. Chinooks ran from 15 to 35 lbs. silvers in the 10-12 lb range. Trouble downloading the pictures. I think I am going to order my boat now. This is way too much fun.
