i thought i would take advantage of the negative tide tommorow and dig up some bay clams but i dont know where to go. any help would be appreciated. like where to park and general area to look for. thanks, kb
Well looks like you didn't do the e ticket ride thing today huh?? Heard he was going to try and get out outta Depoe..Should get another opportunity come June hopefully..Glad Joni was able to taste a little piece of the flat one last week..Have fun clamming........
Park under the south end of the bridge for gapers. You will have hundreds of friends to show you how. Bring a clam shovel or a round nosed shovel. They both work fine.
If the gravel in the channel is exposed, you can find little necks and butter clams in there. Bentnose and jack knife can be found in the same holes as the gapers. Cockles can be raked in the sand directly under the bridge. Wish I was going too.
