I am getting ready to recoat the bottom of my driftboat. I have a 17 foot aluminum Fish Rite. The problem I have is figuring out how to get the boat upside down. I am not the Inedible Hulk type so any ideas, comments suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I took the seats and oar locks out of mine and off loaded it onto the lawn. then me and a buddy tipped it up and over. it rolled over pretty easy. Then I used a couple 2x4's under the rails to block it up so its stable.

If you are trying to do it yourself, first empty the boat and take the seats out. Then tie a rope to the rail on the opposite side of the boat and stand on the rail opposite of where you tied the rope. Lean back, push down on your legs and pull hard. It should come over. Grab the boat while it is up on its side and lower it. This is how I have turned my 16' db when I redid my boat several years back.

Much easier with two.
