Have family from out of state and want to get into some fish tomorrow. Did ok on shakers today but want a couple filets for the barby tomorrow. Saw one boat break loose at the picket fence but it appeared to be a wild fish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you make the decision.

There were 582 Salmon and 3289 Steelhead over the dam yesterday.

If I were you I would anchor in about 17-19' feet of water w/an X-4 Flatfish and let the steelies have their way with it.

You can try off of Frenchman's Bar, or you can put in @ Chinook Landing and try out by the Gvt. Island. I also understand they are doing great out of Longview.

I don't know if they have been catching any lately, because I have been home hiding in my camper, where I have Air condidioning.

I think I was the guy with the native at the fence. There were a couple of keepers earlier.
We tried in 16-17 ft.with spinners,k 10 and wart. Then moved out to 40+ and got bit. Good luck, wherever you end up.
