Need advice of the worth of a boat

Need some advice. I have a neighbor whose husband recently passed away. She needs to sell his boat. I have no idea how much she can ask for it. It is a 1999 Motion Marine 20 ft open sled with about a 12 degree hull. It has a relatively new 150 HP Yamaha, a 8 HP Yamaha kicker, a trailer, and a electric trolling motor (not shown), 2 downriggers, a cover for storage and a cover to keep the rain off. Both engines started very easily and look to be almost new. It needs a paint job, but other than that looks to be in really good shape. Any idea what she can get for this? Thanks

My best guess is in line with the others at 20-25.
The age of the boat most likely makes it intelligible for a bank loan without a marine survey. So that cuts your buyers down significantly. A wrap will certainly help it sell quicker and may slightly increase price.
Condition is the other favor. Wear is very evident. But condition appears to be ok which is a plus.
Motor is newer but it's not new. Low hours are a plus though.

I think they are in business but maybe just doing repairs. I have not seen a new motion marine for sale in years. There is a sign in westlinn by the canby ferry, maybe that is where the shop is?

Sleds sell fast. Clean it up and list it for sale. 25.

I would check fb marketplace for sold ads for similar boats (similar being similar year and layout) and see what they are going for. With higher interest rates at the moment it seems that boats are on the market a lot longer than they have been in the past 15 years. If she isn't in a hurry to sell that is the best option as she can stick to a price if she feels its worth it. Negotiating is a lot harder when you're dealing with a widow.

I personally wouldn't discount the price because of the paint (granted there no pic of the hull itself) because it appears the hull is in good shape. For a wrap, I think It would be better to negotiate with green butt skunk here for a wrap in the future as part of the deal where the buyer gets to choose the design. It looks used more than anything which is a good thing to me at least.

I responded to the thread yesterday but I don't see it here, not sure what happened.

I would also be in the $25k ballpark. The engine years are important information. They should be on the side of the motor mounts and/or under the cowling on a circle sticker.

It's hard to get a heavy gauge open boat with good four strokes on it for less than that. MM made a nice boat and they have a good reputation. I killed a lot of fish in a very similar 20' Motion Marine back in the day!

If the price is in the $20k range, put me first in line to buy it, please! :)

The kicker is a Yamaha T-8 High Thrust Extra Long Shaft with Power Tilt & Electric Start which you can't even get anymore as far as I know and honestly I have guides come in often that tell me if I ever get one in here to call them first and they will pay 2k and more just for the kicker. I have one myself and it will likely never be for sale unless I croak and then my wife will sell it for what I said I bought it for. Pic of mine shown.
