~North Santiam creel encountered 343 anglers. There were 6 summer steelhead caught and kept, 1 steelhead released, 40 spring chinook caught and kept, and 7 chinook released. As of July 20, the ACE has lowered the flow in the North Santiam to 850 cfs. The bite appears to have fallen off with the change in flow (although the bite has also been poor on the South Santiam and the McKenzie). The river is low enough that drift boats will have difficulty getting downstream and adult salmonids will have difficulty crossing some gravel bars on their way upstream. Surveyors have reported that many juvenile steelhead have been stranded by the drop in flow.

~South Santiam creel encountered 222 anglers. There were 13 summer steelhead caught and kept, 1 summer steelhead released, 7 spring chinook were kept, and 6 chinook were released. There were 1 rainbow with mark unknown, 2 trout species unknown, and 5 smolt released. As of July 20, the ACE has lowered the flow in the South Santiam to 650 cfs.

~Foster Lake creel encountered 52 anglers. There was 57 rainbows kept, 19 rainbows released, 3 smallmouth bass released, 4 smallmouth bass kept, 2 kokanee released, 1 bluegill kept, 3 bluegill released, 1 yellow perch kept, and 2 largemouth bass kept. Boat angling is still the majority of the fishing pressure. There have been a lot of fish caught trolling along Hwy 20 from S. Santiam arm bridge to Shea Point.Foster's water level is down about 1 foot.

~Green Peter-17 anglers with 280 kokanee and 2 rainbows kept. Angling near the dam is the best. Thistle Creek still remains the only boat ramp access.

~McKenzie River creel encountered 118 anglers. There were 2 summer steelhead caught and kept, 1 summer steelhead released, 2 spring chinook caught and kept, and 1 chinook released. In addition, there were 15 hatchery rainbows kept, 2 hatchery trout released, 3 unmarked rainbows released, and 1 cutthroat released. Stomach contents of 616 hatchery trout recovered from releases in the McKenzie River have been examined this season. Most trout had ingested only aquatic insects, however, 9 chinook fry and 6 unidentified salmonids have been found. We are currently conducting another controlled study to determine gut residence time.

~Middle Fork Willamette creel encountered 263 anglers. There were 30 summer steelhead caught and kept, 2 steelhead released, 26 spring chinook kept, 35 chinook released, and 5 cutthroat caught.
