Sorry it took a bit to post the reports, but I just now got them sent to me. Enjoy!

~One hundred thirty nine (139) anglers were encountered on the North Santiam River. Twenty adult summer steelhead were caught and kept, and 10 adult winter steelhead were caught and released. One whitefish, and 32 steelhead smolts were caught and released. Fishing pressure is greatest in the lower North Santiam (below Stayton).

~Ninety five (95) anglers were encountered on the South Santiam River this week. Four adult summer steelhead were caught and kept, and 73 steel smolts, 3 rainbow trout, 3 cutthroat trout, and 6 suckers were also caught and released. Fishing pressure is greatest in the upper South Santiam (above Pleasant Valley bridge).

~Fifty-four (54) anglers were encountered in the Foster Lake creel this week. Fifty-five (55) hatchery trout and 3 steelhead smolts were caught and kept. Sixteen hatchery trout were caught and released. Fishing pressure is greatest above the Middle Santiam bridge and Sunnyside Park.

~Green Peter Lake kokanee are starting to run (no creel is conducted). Right now, it has been off and on. Best place to fish is near the dam (unless in a boat).

~Sixty-five (65) anglers were encountered on the McKenzie River this week. One adult summer steelhead was caught and kept. Thirteen marked steelhead smolts were caught and released. In addition, 5 rainbow trout, 34 unknown trout, 1 juvenile chinook and 1 whitefish were caught and released.

~One hundred ninety-one (191) anglers were encountered on the Middle Fork Willamette River this week. Fourteen adult summer steelhead, 2 winter steelhead, 1 adult spring chinook, 101 steelhead smolts, 22 rainbow trout, 2 whitefish, two brown bullheads, and 1 sturgeon were caught.

~Adult traps at Stayton Island (North Santiam) captured 55 winter steelhead, 56 marked summer steelhead and 3 unmarked summer steelhead this week. Four marked steelhead were captured in the Leaburg adult trap. Seven unmarked steelhead smolts were captured in the bypass screw trap at Leaburg Dam. A rotary screw trap at the Walterville bypass captured 227 marked steelhead smolts and 18 unmarked steelhead smolts.
