, but to my knowledge, I don't think many Fall chinook travel into the MC or Willy. There should be coho that enter this system, to reach the Clackamas. My limited experience for Coho in fresh water has been near the mouth of the Clack on the Willy. It seems the " method " was trolling steelhead sized plugs, flatlined.

Red is correct. The willamette and Channel are spring fisheries. If you would like to catch some salmon now, check the columbia, or follow Red's advice.
