Has anyone been fishing the mouth of the Cowlitz on the Columbia? Thinking about stopping by this weekend.

 

[Time Off]

A fellow Ifisher caught a nice nook there last weekend. He said he saw 3 fish caught for about 30 boats.

 

[Hawgs n Harleys]

Very slow from what we saw. I counted 35 boats friday, 7 fish on that I saw. 3 of them on one boat. I moved down next to them and by then it was over.

Saturday the 5th we moved up to the mouth of the Kalama, no fish untill one late school hit. 6 or 7 salmon on in about 10 minutes for about 12 boats fishing. We netted a small chinook, the boat next to us had a nice fighter on & up to the boat but lost it.

Maybe things well start to pick up this week. Let me know if they do! -Steve
