And thanks go to Nanook. I took his advice on the gold bladed, red beaded prawn spinner deep in the current and...viola...a nice 14 lber. It was a BC Angling prawn spinner and BC Angling prawn, the red ones...not the electric red..the red/red ones.

Got it in the blazing sunlight around 3PM just at the Sauvie Island Bridge (near Fred's).

I was using the downrigger and had it down at 32 feet.

And as the topper to a perfect day...the new car was delivered. Hmmm....fish or car, fish or car. Went with red bead on both.
