If you want a first class experience take Mark up on this. I did last Sunday and had a blast, 4 people, 30 tuna and a limit of halibut. Just a word of warning Mark is a little different, he asks what you his clients wants to do,:applause:( our choice after 20 tuna and halibut, salmon or more tuna?) and has a habit of coming in a little late, so if you don't like having fun, and fishing for 12 hours, or until you have caught all you want don't take him up on these seats.
P.S. his boat is first class just like the skipper:grin:

I can vouch for Mark too. A few friends and I had the pleasure of fishing with Mark a week or so ago and had a great time. In fact we cant wait to do it again. Mark was first rate and went above and beyond to ensure that we all had a very pleasant and enjoyable time.

Fish with him and you wont regret it!!

I'll certainly vouch for Mark. He runs a good boat, and will get you into the fish. In fact, if he is in need of a deckhand? (actually I may be busy that day working on my own boat).

Mark does run a first class operation. I too was on the trip Sunday. Having caught a lot of albacore in So. Cal. but never in Oregon, he showed me a real albacore trip. We did get halibut also to boot! As Drano100 said, Mark will ask you what you want to do. He does not have a preconcieved plan at the start, as "you are the paying client". He wants you to have fun and you define that. I would go out again in a heart beat, but I just finished canning and smoking last weeks fish and have to recuperate! I was the one who wanted to come in, since I wanted to get home before midnight and clean my fish. He would have us keep fishing if we wanted. Who ever goes will have the trip of a lifetime I am sure. His boat is first class and smooth.:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

Thanks for all the calls, both seats are filled.

Hey Ron I think we were all ready to come in on Sunday, not just you.
I'm glad you guys had enough fishing. When a rod goes off and no one moves, it's a sign....... The trips I run are not a set number of hours. The maximum is 12 hours, CG Regs. Anytime the crew wants to head in all they have to do is say so. Several groups have caught their fill and headed in early, I love it! I think the problem is that no one wants to be the first to say enough, for fear their buddies will call them wimps...:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:. My job is to help you have a good time. If everyone is worn out and grinning by noon, I done good.

:agree:I can confirm all of the above my party filled the first 4 seats. Mark put us on the tuna but they were uncooperative. We went for Halibut at the banana and I was hooked up as soon as I was down. My brother got a very nice Halibut. My sister also had a nice Halibut which she was certain was going to break the pole:laugh:.

The people in my party were all family members and were already talking about our next trip out before we had left. Mark would like his boat to feel like a group of buddys fishing and that is what it felt like to us, actually more like family.

A big thank you to Sea Jypzee who was our mate and showed me how to cark:clap:. Mark was generous with his knowledge and taught me a topshot knot. Between Mark and Nancy I got the added benefit of a salty education.
Scott Riggen and his dad Bob filled the other 2 seats and I know they had a good time and made it feel like a group of buddys that loved to fish. Scott and his dad got to fight our only tuna double of the day:).
