Lost my favorite Oregonian

My sweet Aunt Clara Beth Doe went home peacefully on Thanksgiving Day in Medford. She was 100. She was born at home in Medford in 1917 -- and her mother -- my grandmother Blanche Wood Powell -- was born in Medford in 1888. She married the love of her life, Paul Doe, in Baker City in 1937. She kept an exemplary home and table, raised two fine kids, Roy and JoAnn (Parker), and was the best aunt a guy like me could possibly ever hope for. She and Paul hunted and fished all over Oregon -- and particularly enjoyed horse packing into the Wallowas and Hell's Canyon from their home in Prairie City. All who knew her loved her to pieces -- she was that kind of person, always ready with a smile. Miss you Aunt CB!

Sorry to hear, but what a success story!!!

100! That's mighty good.
Thanks fellas. Bad people get more than their share of publicity in this world. It's important to remember the good ones.
So sorry Bill. Yes, the good ones need to be remembered.
Thoughts are with you Bill. That's a lovely picture of your smiles.
