I lost a rod and reel on the upper Siletz today. Probably somewhere between road mile markers 9.5 and 10. Set the rod down to use my other one, must have knocked it into the water after hooking a fish. Looked for it for an hour, but to no avail. I think it wound up in a narrow and deep channel, and I couldn't see the bottom. The rod is green, with a Shimano Spirex 2000 reel and a half yellow bobber with a pink and purple jig attached to the end of the line. If anyone finds this rod this fall, or maybe in a year, I would love to get it back. There is a reward if it is returned to me.

hey if you can narrow it down a little better maybe you could get a guy to dive in and get it. I have done that few times and you would be better off giving a guy $50 than paying for a new rod and reel to replace it. try a local dive shop and see what they will do.
