One of my favorites is the “Roof” in St. Helens. Easy docks and a short walk. They have great beer on tap and delicious sandwiches. There’s a few other restaurants within walking distance as well.

What are others in the area that I’m unaware of?

The Deck just downstream of the Gleason ramp is pretty good.

We got food from Buoy beer during B10 last year, but that was an un-sanctioned event I don't advise anyone replicate. My boat handling skills were on point that day.

The old Newport bay WAS fun, been closed a while.
If you can find a place to tie up, There is Beaches, fun place.

I’m not seeing a public dock within walking distance to Salty’s. Is there one I’m missing? I have no problem sliding onto a beach but that all looks like old pile and milfoil shallows in front of Salty’s.

Sry, We would go to Salty’s after fishing, parked at the Gleason ramp ( used to call it the 39th st ramp). I suppose you could beach and walk over. I personally wouldn’t.

The Rogue brewery in Astoria use to have a Boat ramp. I am not sure it is there post Wuhan however.

Once again I’ve got to plug the St. Helens public docks and restaurants. It’s great to have a good eats and a cold one after fishing. If you fish the area and haven’t done it you’re missing out...
