Numbers are down today...scratch fishing from the boats that went out early.

Dick is on an afternoon hunt so we hope to have better numbers for the guys going tomorrow.

Still fish at halibut hill but not like a few days ago...sounds like the fish are moving off the troll bite and are looking for something different...or so it seems.

:yeahthat: Kinda seems like it's half-time right now. The N/NW winds are going to be blowing all week. We need some new weather patterns - and soon!

Saturday we headed out to Area 61 from DB but only made it to 18 miles and ran into jumpers and birds. Stayed there all morning and had our fish by about 11:00

Sunday we headed to the same area but the water had moved out some. Finally put in a couple miles short of 61 due to rough water. Started in 57 deg. water. As soon as the temp hit 60, we were into fish big time, Never left about a 1/2 mile area and were barely able to get all of our gear in the water at once. Finished at 10:30.

That put the 60 deg water about 6 miles farther out than on Saturday.
Can you imagine, complaining about going farther than 18 miles?? jeesh

Long story short, 6 more people probably at the boat dealers today.:dance:

Dick just called with 4 in the box at the 124:44 line...good water color...3 on p/b clones and 1 mexi...no jumpers yet.

I saw that too Fri. off Depoe, the Birds really helped that day, they were taking advantage of the Tuna pushing Bait to the Surface, & every time we Trolled thru active Birds, Multipuls were the rule.

Sea Fox is on the pond...Kentucky Hog Hunter as well...only word I got was "sporty"...we'll see what the boys have to say when they get in.

124:47 is a really good place to start.

KHH did real well...Maddie and Me II lit it up big time.

Tuna Pirate is the boat on the water...Dick is stuck on shore with us...but he's talking to our guys on the water.
