Spent Thurs-Sunday with a group of buddies down in Lake Tahoe. Snowed like heck on Thurs & Friday, but the snow stopped and sun came out for fishing on Saturday.

There were 7 of us, so we went on The Kingfish (charter) out of Homewood, CA. We met the boat at 10 AM and really didn't get under way until 10:30, as the captain & deckhand shoveled about 3' of snow out of the boat. Anyway, we drove 2-3 miles to the first spot and dropped in... We were bottom bouncing Tahoe Redside Chubs behind flashers in about 225' of water (on wire-line rigs).

Long story short: All 7 of us had 2 fish limits in about 3 hours! Non-stop action; what a blast!!! Fish averaged 5 lbs. with the biggest going slightly over 8. Sure, it's nothing like an Odell-sized mack, but you've got to like it when you can fish and smack talk alongside 6 of your best buddies!
