Rumor was that last year was to be the last for the ramp due to the shallow channel out. Is it still open? Still free?

Thanks.

We used it at high tied a couple weeks ago to take because of the long line next door. My understanding is it's un-useable at low tide.

Last week with the minus tides we had to wait an hour after low slack to launch.

Was nice to take my time loading the boat back on the trailer, with no lines.

We prefer it by far, wait or no wait!

Is it still free?

Blubeast, we used it on Sept 21,22,23 coming back in around low slack, which was 2.9' and 2.3' on the 22nd and 23rd. The shallowest reading we had at those tide levels was a comfortable 3.5' of depth.

I actually thought it was easier to get out than years past, particularly at that spot just before you reach the Garibaldi channel, where the bottom use to hump-up a bit. That seemed to be gone and I'd actually wondered if a little dredging was done.

Yes, it's still free. We make it a point to always buy bait, ice or something there in appreciation of the free use of their ramp, cleaning station, restrooms, etc.

Great place, 'thankyou very much' to the owners if they happen to read this.
