Well it's time to get rid of my 40 horse Mariner Magnum. (4 Cylinder) I got this motor in 1990 with my 16 foot Lund Stinger in Minnesota. It has been fishing in 7 states, two Canadian Provence's, and even out to the 'Spark Plug' out of the Columbia. I cannot endorse the motor enough. I have ran the heck out it. No issues up until now. It randomly dies - not good in the Columbia! I have checked and or replaced all I can think of. New Ignition module, plugs, etc... Right when you feel safe it konks again! I know I could throw more money at it, but the point is, it's time. The new motors get way more MPG, and you don't need two stroke oil.
Back to my question, does anybody need or want something like this? I have heard of people taking them down to part out, not my thing.

Welp. Don't put it in your recycle bin.
The Chinese don't want it no mo.
So the garbage collectors will fine you for putting it in the recycle.
I made the mistake of putting a couple electric motors in mine, along with a bunch of aluminum.
The recycle guy hopped down from his truck and started taking pictures of the inside of the bin.
I went out to ask what was wrong. He told me it was all garbage now.
I asked him if I yanked it out, would I still get fined.
He replied that no I wouldn't, but they would be watching from now on.
Best bet is see if a metal scrap yard will take it. Or maybe someone on here
might want it for parts?
