OK throwing my 2 cents over the river,....here in WA most areas are visable antler,I never even consider'd the incedental doe kill 
I mean visable means visable don't it.Any how I too am purely a meat hunter,and have harvested my share of spikes,but I would realy like to see western WA go to a branch antler restriction,just too hard to pass a legal buck up sometimes.I know it's all about self controll,but when all you are seeing are spikes and the freezer is empty,well young and tender is tasty :shrug:,but it would be nice to see a few more mature bucks.
