I have Firearm Trust the only downside is adding a person to the trust after the trust is created can be a pain in the butt

 

I'd loan a suppressor to a friend whether he was with me or not.

 

And both of you could go to jail and be fined. up to 10 yrs and a $250000 fine.

Imo it's not likely unless the person you lend it to commits a crime with it or o/w draws attention to themselves. I just doubt field officers, spread as thin as they are, care much if you're otherwise behaving.

 

I'll be hit by lightning before I'll be checked for a suppressor tax stamp at the range, and will never be checked in the field.

My understanding is you need to carry documentation. Not necessarily the actual paperwork. I took pictures of all documents on my phone. No sense in packing around the original documents to get lost or damaged and have to pay for it again. I could be wrong but that’s what I did.

 

Legally you cant even loan a friend a gun without doing a person to person transfer through an FFL.
