It is what it is! The guys will never hear a sharp word from me as long as the fish hits the deck instead of still swimming around in the sea. I guess I could just show all the head gaffs, and yes there are some, but that would not be the reality of it all. I just pick out the clips that fit what I am trying to show! The belly gaffs really dont hurt a thing, but we do lose some meat with the loin gaffs! Such is life! My world does not revolve around the "Perfect Gaff". That said if there is a good head gaff the guiys hear good things about it. Its all for fun and a good time. Does make a guy wince when it happens though!
Get'em how you can. I love you videos and the music match is great. I am happy to wait for it. Some times better just takes longer and it's a good thing.
Thanks Tracker

Nice job Dave. Where's the bloopers and deleted scenes sections????

I think your video shows a pretty good description of what is meant by blue water:grin:

Thanks for the replies guys! Hope to get some video of what all the lures in my arsenal look like while running in the water.
How about dropping the camera back on a handline that has a downrigger clipped to it, then clip a clone or swim bait into the downrigger clip. This way we could get a video of the bait being attacked. That would be sawheeeetttt!

I've actually thought of that, myself. However, with the type of camera Tracker has, as well as my own (I think), is only 'waterproof' up to 10 ft. I'd be worried it might go lower and have water creep in. I'm working on a waterproof housing for the video without having to buy one, since they are so expensive~

dave i have been out of town all week and now just managed to watch this great video. it is one of your best for sure. the one thing that keeps bugging me is that gaff from above it reminds me of bad **** from the 70's only its a gaff instead of a fuzzy microphone..... ha ha

Very nice. Great music and nice touch with the underwater shots.
REALLY makes me wish we had been able to go out past the halibut grounds last week. I had to buy a tuna at the dock just to bring one home last week. Maybe I will get one more shot with Herring Problem unless someone else offers me a seat before then,:applause:

The other problem with dropping the camera back on a line other than the depth issue would be stabilising the camera. Would be really hard to watch a video that is spinning around and around. Would not be good having veiwers puking all over their keyboards!
