[Steelhead Hound]

I went sturgeon fishing this morning and inside of a half hour we had 2 keepers...53" and 51". We later caught 5 MORE KEEPERS!!!!!!!! All about the same length. Also got 1 on the 29th 2 on the 25th and 2 on the 24th. TO BAD IT'S CLOSED NOW!!! :depressed:

I'll probobly still go sturgeon fishing this weekend. I had horrible luck last weekend, maybe with the closure (and resulting smaller crowds) some bigger fish will get despirate enough to munch on one of my smelt.

Yea Hound,ain't that the way it goes,picked up a keeper last week and had another this week within an hour.Start doing something right and it gets closed on us!Well,maybe in Jan. it will still be hot.Hopefull they won't close it on us next year because the gill netters over harvest it again.

braved the weather (cold and windy) and went to the fishery no wait to launch imagine that 15 mins after getting set up i got this beauty 48 incher
