What some of your favorite powders for handgun reloading.
I've started loading pistol and Im currently playing with:
380 ACP
38
45ACP
I will be taking on 357, 44 Rem Mag and 45 Colt down the road.

Currently using
Win 23/HP 38
Tiitegroup
CFE Pistol.

Id love some Unique but that's not gonna happen.

Having started playing yet with the slower burning powders for magnum max loads but will be down the road.
Titegroup seems very versatile, meters well, and more rounds per pound.

Lots of info out there just curious what others are loving

Because I'm old enough to remember things before components went to hell....

Bullseye, Unique & 2400 can cover a ton of uses.

If I could find some 231, AA5 (Mid range speed), and H110 instead, then I would use something in that range.

Unless you want extreme performance on any end of the spectrum, I'm not sure how much it matters.

.38 Sp and .45acp are Win 231/HP-38

.40S&W and 9mm are HS-6. Good case fill, have to be a real dummy to double charge. Burns clean in those higher pressure rounds.

.357 Magnum gets H110. It's also been mentioned that H110 was an original powder in .30 Carbine.

Print off a couple of "Powder Burn Rate Charts" and keep near the loading bench/table.

.45 Colt gets Win 244. Seems a little dirty though. but I do load fairly light rounds for a lever gun.

I went with the old timers when I started in 2011 with Bullseye and Unique. Both of those are flake powder and "crunch" in the RCBS powder measure.

Note: Precision Reloading has free HazMat with (edited) a $199.00 order. Until 10/02. I'll be grabbing some HS-6 if I can't find some at the ARPC show tomorrow.
