Clip? Decent name for a boy, though a misnomer 99% of the time when used in gun conversations.

I dunno, I’m sticking with Schnable. Go goofy or go home! :)

I’ve got friends with some pretty neat and less-common names for their kiddos.

One has a daughter named Paisley and a son named Ranger. Cool kids. Cool parents. Neat names.

Fire guy I know has a daughter named Syren. That’s badas$$. She plays club volleyball with my youngest.

My oldest works with a lady that named her three kids Danger, Stoney, and Wednesday. No joke, their last name is Adams.

A couple friends I know have sons names Hunter. One has a Colt.

A name is just a name, but I agree that you should consider what it may mean to the person more than what it means to the parent.

I've always been fond of Parker as a name-- and shotgun--with class. Walker would be another. Been thinking about that one this morning as I research my GG-grandfather, who enlisted in Austin in the First Texas Volunteer Mounted Rifles in May of 1847.
Rigby would be another fine name with a British flavor, as would Gibbs.
I'd have no problem naming a girl Grendel, but would not name a boy Beowulf.
