12 rod holders in the gunnels. 12 rod holders on the tower and 4 more in the rocket launcher. Probably lose the rocket and add a nice bait tank with holders built in. Mucho sardines!

The Cummins tech is doing his thing on Wednesday. If those results confirm what we expect, yes, it will get the transom detail, then the new name and hailing port (Garibaldi OR) added.

The real christening will occur off the coast of Massachusetts. The broker's brother is a cast member on wicked tuna and my buddy put 6 over 500 on his little 24' last year. If the weather allows, we'll get a decent shot at one of those pigs. There are some smaller 50-60" fish closer in as well.

Made it through the survey and sea trial. Now we wait for the oil sample results. Topped out at 38 mph and cruises 27kts burning under 30 gallons an hour. 🤞🙏🤞🙏

Move it to Florida when hurricane season settles down and then on a ship to MX.

 

Wow! She's sweet and I love how clean that engine compartment is. That says a lot about how she was maintained.

Engine oil samples came back green, which is always nice. Closing in a week or whenever the CG Documentation is done. A trip to Nantucket in mid-September to get it salty!
