Just put my lab down. She was 14. Diabetic for 3 years 2 shots a day. Then she went blind 2 years ago. She still wanted to hunt and would cry when I got gear together. She still went camping with us and was a part of our lives everyday. We were her eyes. and we loved it. Last Sunday she took a turn for the worse and we had her put down. The vet did a great job Kodi was eating her snacks and would not lay her head down on my lap till her treats were done. she relaxed and was gone.

Sorry for your loss 13 was the most I ever got out of a Lab. I sure wish I could get another but I'm to limited these days.. There must be a special place in the heaven for Dogs there unconditional love for us is just amazing !! I have story's that are just incredible I swear they have ESP. I laugh so hard at people that say the dog is dumb, boy there pea brain is nothing compared to there dogs.. Best Regards

Sorry man. We put our lab, Wrigley, down last July. It was terrible, but had to be done. He had terrible lesions on his throat. Somehow he was able to eat the McDonald's cheeseburgers and ice cream we fed him on his last night though. Hard to hold back tears when I had to carry him out of that vet's office. Hang in there...
