Made my business trip to Brookings and took a few pic off the north jetty
Saw 3 fish caught in 1hr ..low tide
They were fueling the dredge and saw 6 double fuel trucks plus more pulling up as I left

I was there on the 28th and 29th. Did rock fishing the first day and caught 10 crab, 20 rock fish and 2 lings. 29th was salmon fishing by the dredge boat. First pass the lady on the boat had her line out for maybe 2 minutes and then reeled in a 21# king and that was it for the rest of the day. Saw a few caught throughout the day. Just a steady but slow bite.

Thanks for the reports. When the dredge is inside the spit, things can get a little busy out there....but they have a lot of work to do! Glad they came back this year....

It was busy there. Most of the fish I saw caught had some good size to them.

The salmon ate well......plenty of fish in the upper 20lb weight slot this year.
