Or you can just hook kids up because it's a decent thing to do instead of using them for clicks...

 

I mean, more clicks means more money, to give more kids stuff, I guess that doesn't matter huh...

Cringe social media guy- gives kids things on camera for clout, uses the words ‘love’ and ‘bless’ in bizarre ways, then brags about monetization/engagement in the same breath.

Same cringe social media guy- ‘doesn’t blessing kids with the love of fishing bring you joy??’

Stop spreading your love on kids. This is the cringiest thing I have ever seen… keep this guy away from schools.

 

Used to take a young guy here in town fishing a lot but he had a terrible habit of laying my rod on the ground. No matter how many times he was told not to, if I wasn't looking down it went. Finally he broke the rod but snuck it back to the car and at home claimed he didn't know how it happened. Last time I let him borrow a rod! Ex wife had a boy that liked to fish and he would not do that after being told. But other time's he was awfully careless with them and slammed a couple in the car door on me. Still let him fish but got his the absolutely cheapest rods I could find. That kid here in town was much older but figured I didn't know what I was talking about. He does now. Doesn't pay to get kids nice fishing gear, they will just break it. One stepson managed to stand on a rod in a friends boat. It was laying up on a seat and he still got it! I simply stay away from know it all kids anymore unless they have their own equipment!
