Going to run out of Garibaldi for Salmon on Sunday. Any word on the location, last I heard was 175 ft. Also, any thoughts of the chances of an open bar prior to 7:30 with the big ebb tide swing?

run north 2-3 miles, fish out in 200-250 of water, 10-16 pulls down.
Some fish have come just under the surface too. Look for bait, birds, and rips.
I'll be out too, hoping for more limits.

Thanks fellows, I will let you know on 14 if we get into anything. Hopefully some action will be available. Plan is to take care of business with the salmon and then try for some shallow water butts or lings.

Got off the water at 11am with 2 limits. Fishing is still not hot and the fish don't seemed to be schooled up. Just about everyone was in the 180 to 190 ft area just north of Twin Rocks. Be prepared to work for them but the action was just enough to keep you interested. Take your crab pots as crabbing is good. 3 pots soaking for 3 hours produced 9 big keepers. The water was like lake conditions today and it actually got warm when the sun popped out around 9am. Morning incoming tides should make for a good crossing this weekend. HT

Just got back from a week of fishing. Did not fish to hard and limits most days. Bait seemed to work the best but spoons did get some fish. As HT said you have to work for them but there is a lot of action with drive bys. We fished the 200 ft line trolling north from out frount. Ocean was great.

Yes they are talking about heading out of the Columbia river. Sometimes they will say "CR Bouy" because there is a bouy out of the columbia river called the "CR Bouy". It's on the charts.
