I have two 6 gallon fuel tanks that I use to power my main motor (115hp Merc) and I was wondering if I could hook both of them up to my new water seperator at the same time? My water seperator has two intakes and to outputs. I guess my main guestion is, Can I have both of them hooked up at the same time and will there be any problems with this setup?

Thanks!

Yes you can. I would put inline ball valves between the tanks and the filter though.

Keta,

Are you talking about putting in a primer bulb on each of the lines before the filter? I was told to put it between the filter and the motor. What do you think?

1 priming bulb between the motor and filter. It's a good idea to be able to isolate your tanks. "Ball Valves" are a shutoff valve.

That is the way I have mine setup.

2 tanks and 2 hoses with squeeze bulbs on each line. Primer bulbs between tank and filter.

I also have an in line shut off valve to turn off the not used tank. Sometimes if both tanks are hooked up at the same time the motor can suck from the empty tank.
