For you folks that live down in that beautiful part of the State is there an area that is close to town for a couple hour fishing trip. Staying with some friends this weekend who are interested in going.

Thanks

Caught many big trout on Klamath Lake, my biggest ever 11.5 lbs on a fly! Go to Rocky Point Resort, rent a boat, ask at the store what is going on and have a good time!

This time of the year is tough. The lake hasn''t cooled down yet and the river is warm too. You might try above JC Boyle Powerhouse in the spring fed section of the Klamath River.
If you have a boat early morning browns and all day kokanee are fair in Lake of the Woods this ime of the year, I haven't been home all summer so I don't know for sure. Email me and I'll tell you more on Lake of the Woods if you plan on fishing there.
