I'm thinking of heading over from Yakima tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I should. I've never fished the Deschutes, but am somewhat familiar with the area. I have a sled, so I can bring that, but it sounds like the bank is the ticket. Plus it's cheaper!!
Yesterday was good with some limits. I was done by 9:00. If you were in a good spot you could get fish if not you got NADA. Today was slow I only saw one guy get 2 and I did not even touch a fish. Today I only saw about 12 total.
