Finally got the new-to-me boat done (though there is a little left to do). Here is the first fish (35 inches ~ 14 lbs) caught it was on last Thursday afternoon on the Clearwater. My brother caught it I am just horning in because I needed to document that I was there. :grin:

Nice fish! That river really produces some big fish. I have a friend here in Grants Pass that makes a yearly pilgrimage to the Clearwater. He has taken several fish in the twenty pound range.

The two dudes look an awful lot alike..brothers ,, more like clones. Hi Ho. Nice fish. Is that pic taken right there near Lewiston? I got my first steelhead at the old school house hole (20lbs) about a mile below Simplot. id. painter

Yep, we are clones. As for where, about a mile above the Flying J ramp, a couple of hundred yards above the log cribs.

I have not had my new boat on that river yet ,, I might have to come over this winter and try it again. id. p.
