Will drive to Astoria in early AM. Should I go up the river on the OR side, or go up I5 to Longview and cross? I have easy access to 205. Thanks for any help. How long will it take?

It is a little faster to go up I-5 and cross at Longview. Between 10 and 15 minutes faster usually. Done it several times both ways checking the clock.

Don't go up I-5 to Longview. The bridge isn't scheduled to open up to 2 lane traffic until 0530. 20 minute delays up until that point. They often run a bit longer.

I suggest 26 to 101.

Longview Bridge Closure information page

I believe two lanes are open all night on the weekends, but the road surface is in rough shape and any traffic on the bridge slows to a snail's pace.
