I hear ya,,,, but,,,,, something went boom and was caught on camera. No faking that. Even the cameraman jumped. Pretty big explosion. The mentioned something about maybe it being a military training exercise but I cant see them doing that with people out and about on the ocean... Someone else here had to have seen this episode Sunday evening

Just started watching the show a couple of month ago, like the old guy and his nephew the best, seems to keep a level head even when it all goes pear shaped. Sad thing about all the reality shows is they feel they have to bleep every other word to make it more interesting, the sweet young ladies who have just entered the game are so cute, " bleep bleeping out of the bleeping way you bleepers or I'll bleeping bleep over your bleeping gear".

 

I live on the coast near numerous military bases & installations. We hear "booms" so loud it shakes the entire house like an earthquake. This is totally real. There are aircraft flying over on training missions constantly. Navy denies doing any blasting offshore but I'm sure that's a huge lie.

 

A six year old lie at that.

There is a military training area out on the Aleutian Islands which is marked on the nautical charts. The charts also state “enter at your own risk.” We fished within those boundaries, but never saw any training exercises while in there. It could be something similar.

 

We went out of Ocean City Maryland a few years ago for bigeye tuna and got buzzed by a navy plane until we got on the radio and they told us to immediately go north and rattled off gps coords we needed to stay north of because they were doing exercises.
